Avoid Certain Supplements

"Stop taking supplements like fish oil, Vitamin E, and St. John's Wort one week before treatment, as they can increase the risk of bruising."

Stay Hydrated

Drinking adequate water preceding the appointment helps optimize skin hydration and treatment outcomes.

Prepare Your Space

"Ensure that your treatment area is clean, well-lit, and has a flat surface (such as a countertop or table) for the provider to place their equipment." Pets must remain outside the treatment room.

Plan for Potential Swelling

"Swelling is common after dermal filler injections. Plan accordingly by scheduling your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to any important events to allow for any swelling or bruising to subside." Using two pillows while sleeping may help reduce puffiness.

Arrive Without Makeup

"On the day of your appointment, please ensure your face is clean, free from makeup, moisturizer, or sunscreen."

Avoid Dental Work
