How to Become an Aesthetic Injector in Chicago: Complete Guide
July 2025
One of the most common questions we get from clinicians interested in joining Skin Clique is: "What does the day-to-day actually look like?" Here's an honest look at the provider experience.
Skin Clique providers set their own availability. Whether you want to work 10 hours a week or 40, you control your calendar. Most providers block off specific days and times, and clients book directly through the platform during those windows.
Before each appointment, you'll review the client's intake information through the Skin Clique platform—including their medical history, treatment goals, and any notes from previous visits. You'll prepare your kit and confirm the client's address.
Most providers travel to clients in a defined geographic area—usually within 30–45 minutes of their home.
You arrive, set up your treatment space (clients typically clear a comfortable seating area), and do a brief consultation to confirm goals and address any questions. This relationship-building moment is one of the things providers love most—there's no waiting room energy, no rushed environment. It's genuinely personal.
Whether you're injecting neuromodulator, performing microneedling, or conducting a skincare consultation, you work within Skin Clique's evidence-based protocols. You have clinical autonomy while being supported by a framework of safety standards.
Treatment times vary by service: tox appointments may run 30–45 minutes, microneedling 60–90 minutes.
You document in the platform, follow up with any post-treatment instructions for the client, and move on to your next appointment—or call it a day if your schedule is done.
