Skin Clique Provider - Julia Morey

I am a dedicated Critical Care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience managing critically ill patients across multiple intensive care settings, including Mechanical Circulatory Support ICU (MCSICU), Cardiovascular Thoracic ICU, Neuro ICU, and Trauma ICU. With nearly 20 years as a registered nurse in Cardiac ICU, Cath Lab, and the Emergency Room, I have developed a deep expertise in advanced cardiac and critical care medicine.

My specialized training includes the management of heart failure, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD), as well as pre- and post-operative care for heart and lung transplant patients and those recovering from cardiac surgery. My knowledge of complex hemodynamics, fluid management, and post-surgical recovery allows me to provide individualized, high-quality care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

I believe in a holistic approach to medicine, treating the whole patient by addressing their physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being. Building strong patient-provider relationships based on communication, trust, and respect is at the heart of my practice, ensuring that my patients and their families feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

I completed my advanced training with the critical care teams at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Additionally, I assisted with physician-led research at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, focusing on cardiothoracic surgical patients in the ICU. I am also a published researcher, with my work examining the risk of cardiac disease in males undergoing androgen deprivation therapies.

Beyond critical care, I fell in love with aesthetics while living in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends in the film and television industries. I believe that confidence starts with feeling good in your own skin, and I love helping people achieve their aesthetic goals through skincare, tox, and fillers.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my two doodles, Luna and Harper. Traveling, surfing, and riding my bike along the beach bring me balance, and I find joy in exploring new places and experiences.
